An interactive tour for a

financial database

The executive sales team needed to accelerate the prospect sales cycle and reach an online audience.

Solution

Partnering with a designer, I mapped out and wrote copy for a user-guided tour that combined an interactive design element and a chatbot.

The chatbot was capable of tracking leads and storing actionable information (such as business email and industry preference), while serving as a remote for the user to progress through the experience.

Copy written for this project involved a complex dialog tree for the chatbot, instructional cues, and simple, benefit-driven product language.

Results

The tour experience has resulted in sales teams having more meaningful, productive conversations earlier on in the sales cycle—saving valuable time and leading to closed deals more quickly.

Engagement metrics for the experience are also strong, with 200k+ views, an average time on page of ~2 minutes, and a 38% bounce rate.
